Garbage service anywhere but here is better

I did a really stupid thing and sucked a wakeboard rope up into my jet impeller on my jet boat on a Friday in mid July. I pulled my boat out of the water and took it to the Boat Doctor. They said it would be quite a while to get it fixed since it was mid summer and a Friday afternoon. They asked how long I was going to be at 8 Point and I said just for a couple of more days on vacation. They said they couldn't promise anything. This was at 2 pm. At 4 pm I got a call that my boat was ready! What FANTASTIC service. Everyone at The Boat Doctor was great, from the people at the counter to the boat mechanic. The charge for the repair was more than reasonable also. This company knows how to treat customers well. I can highly recommend them!

Always helpful, they carry a full line of parts and accessories for your marine fun!

Bill (seemed like a nice guy) came out to Big Lake to fix our pontoon and while he replaced a faulty switch box and cleaned the idle jet of the carb he never took it out on the lake to test everything. Had he done so it would have been obvious the high speed jet was not right. A sad scenario given we were told the engine was in good working order only to find out that wasn't the case when we went to use it the next weekend over the fourth of July holiday (switch box $239 and labor $200). I guess I should have asked more questions when Bill's receptionist called and told us the engine was fixed and ready for immediate use.

By boat was due to be pulled out of the lake and stored for winter, I got a call from the service and they said there was something wrong with the engine and they couldn't get the boat to the launch to pull it out...So I called The Boat Doctor...they told me they really only deal with pontoons anymore but agreed to get my boat. They did retrieve it, fixed the problem with the engine and winterized and stored the boat. I really appreciate them making an exception and helping me. They certainly have my business form now on.
